Does your document need witnesses to be signed?
Bring your witnesses, or our office can provide them for a fee for each witness.
No Financial Conflict: All witnesses must be independent, neutral third parties who hold zero personal or financial stake in your paperwork.
Not for Signers Without ID: Provided witnesses are strictly for fulfilling standard signature lines on a document. They cannot be used to vouch for your identity.
Identification Requirements:
All primary signers must present a valid, government-issued photo ID at the time of service.
If you do not have a valid ID: Our provided witnesses cannot be used to prove who you are. Under California law (Civil Code sections 1185(b)(2) and 1185(b)(1)(A)(i)–(v)) , signers who do not have a valid ID must bring two (2) credible witnesses whom they personally know to legally vouch for their identity under oath. These two credible witnesses must bring their own valid government photo IDs, take a verbal oath under penalty of perjury, and have their identification information and signatures officially recorded in the notary's sequential journal.

Advance Payment: Witness fees must be paid in full at the time of booking or strictly prior to the start of your appointment.
