At Identified – Notary & Identity Services, we offer reliable and efficient California Apostille Preparation Services for clients who need their documents authenticated through the California Secretary of State. Our service ensures your documents are properly prepared, notarized, and assembled so they meet all California apostille requirements.

We understand that obtaining an apostille can be time-consuming, especially for individuals who cannot take time away from work, family, or other commitments to travel to the Secretary of State office in Los Angeles. That's why we help streamline the process by handling the document preparation, submission coordination, and courier service on your behalf, saving you the time, travel, and hassle involved in obtaining an apostille on your own.

Same-Day Apostille Available

Same-day apostille preparation is available Monday through Thursday, as long as:

• No translation is required, or

• You only need apostille preparation (no additional document services)

• Documents are dropped-off between 9 am - 10 am

This allows you to complete your apostille process quickly and without delays.

Same‑Day Drop Off & Pickup Policy

Same‑day apostille preparation is available for documents dropped off between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM, with a guaranteed pickup time by 5:00 PM, provided the request is for authentication or apostille only (no document translation required).
Documents dropped off after 10:00 AM will be processed for next‑day pickup.

While we make every effort to meet this schedule, guaranteed times may be impacted by circumstances beyond our control, such as severe traffic, hazardous weather, or unforeseen transit delays. Documents dropped off after 10:00 AM will be processed for next‑day pickup. 

Our goal is to make the apostille process simple, accurate, and stress-free — giving you confidence that your documents are prepared correctly the first time.

We currently provide California-only apostille preparation, meaning we assist with documents that will be processed exclusively within the State of California. 

Out-of-state apostille preparation is not available yet, but will be offered soon as we expand our services.

This package includes the mandatory $20 California state fee, document pre-screening, routing paperwork, and trackable, prepaid shipping both ways.

Delivery Options:

For final delivery, you can choose to have your completed document mailed securely back to you (prepaid shipping included based on your choice above) or have it held at our office for free pickup.

Please note: Pricing covers one (1) document. Additional documents will incur an extra fee. Certified translation is not included and is available for an additional charge.

Translation Services (Additional Fee) | $40 & up

If your document requires translation before apostille processing, we can assist through our network of reliable professional translators. Translation fees are separate from apostille service fees and vary based on document type, language, and length. Certified translation services are available when required.

California State Fee Structure

Every Apostille requires a standard $20.00 state fee. If we submit your documents in person at the state office for expedited processing, the state charges an additional $6.00 special handling fee per unique official's signature.

(Please note: The $6.00 special handling fee is a government mandate for in-person counter service only. It does not apply to standard mail-in requests.)
